Seriously this was the most heinous act ever perpetrated on US soils and not the first attack Bin Laden did on the WTC. First was by ground which was unsuccessful. The US backed and trained and funded Bin Laden during the Cold War and cut all ties when Russia(USSR) became an American ally. The reason for the training drills was because of chatter the CIA got weeks(maybe months) beforehand. And didnt take them seriously. Hence the holy shit look on Bush's face when he got word while reading that book to those kids when the first plane hit. The govt didnt want this to happen they dropped the ball because Bush was to busy taking vacations every other week and not taking real threats at face value!
